Kroger closing Columbus store

Kroger Co. is closing one of its northeast Columbus stores in July, putting the jobs of as many as 91 workers in limbo, the company told state officials. Cincinnati-based Kroger (NYSE: KR) in a letter to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said its store at 5827 Emporium Square, in the Columbus Square Shopping Center at Route 161 and Cleveland Avenue, will close about July 10.
