Kentucky?s jobless rate drops to 10%

Kentucky?s seasonally adjusted preliminary unemployment rate fell to 10 percent in April, down from 10.2 percent in March, the state reported Friday.
The April rate was down from 10.6 percent in April 2010, according to a news release from the Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
It said the 10 percent rate in April 2011 is the lowest rate since February 2009, when it was 9.8 percent.
